Commercial, Estate & Heritage UAV Surveys | Altivis

Complex Sites. Clear Evidence. Structured Reporting.

Commercial, Estate & Heritage UAV Surveys

Professional aerial inspection and structured reporting for larger properties, estates, heritage buildings and sensitive sites.

Altivis provides UAV survey intelligence for clients who need clear visual evidence, careful planning and structured reporting across more complex properties and operating environments.

This service is suitable where a simple residential roof review may not provide enough context, reporting depth or stakeholder assurance.

Commercial and estate UAV surveys can support maintenance planning, contractor briefing, condition monitoring, insurance conversations, budget decisions and senior stakeholder review.

A More Considered Survey Approach

Commercial, estate and heritage properties often need more than a standard residential roof review.

Altivis supports clients who require careful planning, clear visual evidence and structured reporting across larger properties, complex sites, heritage buildings and sensitive operating environments.

Surveys can support maintenance planning, contractor briefing, condition monitoring, insurance conversations, budget decisions and senior stakeholder review.

Suitable for Complex Property Environments

Who This Service Is For

Altivis can support a range of property and estate environments, including:

  • Commercial buildings
  • Private estates
  • Heritage and listed properties
  • Large residential properties
  • Charity and non-profit estates
  • Schools and community buildings
  • Places of worship
  • Property portfolios
  • Facilities and estate teams
  • Sensitive or access-constrained sites

A more considered survey approach

Commercial, estate and heritage environments often require more careful planning than a standard residential inspection.

Before confirming a survey, Altivis reviews the site context, access arrangements, nearby people and property, weather, operational suitability and relevant airspace considerations.

Where appropriate, the survey can be scoped around specific client priorities such as roof condition, chimneys, gutters, drainage, elevations, previous repairs, storm damage, maintenance planning or post-works verification.

What Altivis Can Review

Depending on the site, scope and operating conditions, Altivis can review visible external areas including:

Roof & Drainage Areas

  • Roof coverings
  • Ridges, hips and valleys
  • Gutters, outlets and drainage routes
  • Chimneys, flashings and parapets

External Property Fabric

  • Flat roof areas where visible
  • Dormers, rooflights and high-level details
  • External elevations and visible fabric
  • Outbuildings and secondary structures

Project & Access Evidence

  • Works progress and visible project milestones
  • Before / during / after visual comparison
  • Post-works verification areas
  • Access or maintenance risk areas

All observations are visual and non-invasive, based on what is visible from UAV imagery and accessible external viewpoints at the time of survey.

Structured Reporting for Decision-Makers

Altivis reports are designed to support property, estate and commercial decision-making rather than simply provide a folder of images.

Reports can include selected UAV image evidence, visible findings, priority indicators, practical recommendations, operational context and clear limitations.

For larger or more complex instructions, reporting can be tailored for trustees, estate managers, contractors, insurers, senior stakeholders or project teams.

Heritage and Sensitive Sites

For heritage buildings, listed properties, sensitive estates and access-constrained sites, Altivis can provide visual evidence while reducing the need for unnecessary physical access where a UAV survey is suitable.

This can help clients understand visible roof and external fabric concerns, document current condition, support contractor discussions and decide whether further specialist advice is required.

Altivis does not disturb building fabric, undertake intrusive investigation or replace specialist heritage, structural or building surveying advice.

Commercial and estate survey options

Commercial, estate and heritage UAV surveys are quoted individually based on property scale, site complexity, survey scope, reporting requirements and operational considerations.

Typical options may include:

  • Commercial Roof & External Fabric Review
  • Estate or Multi-Building UAV Survey
  • Heritage Property Visual Review
  • Post-Works Verification
  • Works Progress Monitoring
  • Condition Monitoring / Repeat Review
  • Progress Evidence Pack
  • Contractor Briefing Evidence Pack

Pricing for commercial, estate and heritage work is provided by quotation after initial scoping.

Works Progress Monitoring

For suitable projects, Altivis can provide periodic UAV image capture to help document visible progress across roofing, maintenance, refurbishment, estate or external fabric works.

This can support project records, stakeholder updates, contractor discussions, project progress discussions, condition comparison and before / during / after evidence.

Works progress monitoring is visual and non-invasive, and is subject to site access, permissions, safety controls, airspace considerations, weather and operational suitability.

Important limitations

Altivis UAV surveys are visual, non-invasive inspections based on imagery captured from accessible external viewpoints. They do not constitute a structural survey, building survey, valuation, warranty, guarantee, invasive investigation or substitute for specialist professional advice.

Some defects may be hidden, internal, intermittent, obscured or not visible from UAV imagery. Weather, lighting, access, distance, angle, surface condition and image clarity may affect the level of confidence in observations.

Reports are prepared to support visible condition review, maintenance planning, contractor discussion and client decision-making. Where further investigation is recommended, clients should consult an appropriately qualified roofer, surveyor, structural engineer, heritage specialist, insurer or contractor as applicable.

Discuss a Commercial, Estate or Heritage Requirement

Every commercial, estate and heritage instruction is reviewed before survey confirmation. Altivis will consider the property type, access, permissions, operating environment, weather, airspace considerations, reporting requirements and intended use of the output before confirming suitability.

For larger sites, sensitive locations, heritage properties, repeat monitoring or works progress requirements, please submit an enquiry and Altivis will respond with the appropriate next step.
